In the computer game industry nowadays there's a huge rift between "casual" and "hardcore" games. Mainstream hardcore games can literally take 40-60 hours to complete or they require an obscene degree of hand-eye coordination with overly complex controls. Casual games on the other hand tend to be more simple, but sometimes they get too simple where there's not enough variety in the gameplay. Also, they tend to be very abstract, so there's very little personality in the games.

We here at Outside the Box Software want to bridge that gap between hardcore and casual. We want to streamline and simplify the controls from the messy keyboard configurations that's found in many hardcore games. We'll shortened the time to complete the game and focus on making the game truly replayable, which are the strength of casual games. But at the same time we want to provide the polish and intense action found in most mainstream hardcore games.

Though the most important aspect about us is that we are an Independent game developer. We self-fund our own development, so we are completely free to explore current genres in different ways or genres that might be uncommon. Our main goal is to provide our customers and fanbase something different with every game release. We strive to give you a gameplay experience that might be a little new (or refreshing) while making sure you have fun.

We want to take you on a ride over the next several years through various genres and gameplay experiences; and we hope you join us!
